President Bush Hears About Stillbirth

At 7PM last night we were able to hand President George W. Bush our NSS
brochure, along with a request that he read it on the plane. Earlier we had
presented envelopes, one addressed to the President and the other to Laura Bush,
to Bob Fannin, Republican Party Chairman for Arizona, who promised he would see
that the President got them too. They we're filled with stillbirth information
and a letter appealing to each for their help in mobilizing federal research to
eradicate stillbirth. A copy of the letter to Mrs. Bush is attached. It was
accompanied with a Missing Angel pin. The letter to the President had a
membership application attached. All we can do it try. But this was a better
"hit" for stillbirth than Bobby Thompson's 9th inning homerun was for the Giants
(for those old enough to remember that event).
